Qualifications

I love a visual!

Hopefully when you come and visit you will notice the images I have posted on the walls. This includes visual anatomy of the muscles, nerves and skeleton. There is also some nifty artwork that I bought from Not On The High Street.

The most important however is the information about the qualifications.

You may not realise but to call yourself a Chiropractor you have to 1. Qualify, and 2. Be registered with the General Chiropractic Council.

This is a good opportunity to explain my (Michelle) training.

First, is a Masters in Chiropractic, and graduating with First Class Honours. As part of training you are examined on different techniques but the McTimoney technique is what I enjoy practicing because of the light and gentle approach.

And to supplement my treatments, is further training in Soft Tissue Release techniques/massage.

As a registered Chiropractor in the UK we continually develop our skills every year with at least 45 hours further learning. So the wall of certificates doesn’t feature them all but includes certificates of membership with the MCA, McTimoney Chiropractic Association and the GCC, General Chiropractic Council.
